Skytrax ha nombrado a Qatar Airways mejor aerolínea del mundo de 2019. Skytrax evalúa cada año a las aerolíneas de todo el mundo en función de sus resultados y de la satisfacción de los pasajeros.

Qatar Airways takes winner title from Singapore Airlines

In 2018 it was still Singapore Airlines that was the best airline in the world. This year it is Qatar Airways that has taken the torch from the praised Asian airline from Singapore. Last year, Qatar Airways was still the number two. The top ten airlines are dominated by Eastern and Asian airlines. The sole European airline in the top ten is for the German Airline, Lufthansa, in ninth place. Over 21 million passengers from over a hundred different nationalities have taken part in the assessment.

Skytrax Awards and European Airlines

Among the European Airlines the highest ranked ones are Lufthansa, Swiss and Austrian Airlines. British Airways is the only British Airline in the top 100, just after Dutch airline KLM, at rank 19.
